Marie Mahramas Klein, 89, of Canonsburg, died Friday, August 26, 2016.
She was born June 10, 1927, in Canonsburg, a daughter of George and Alice Pashkevich Mahramas.
She was a 1945 graduate of Canonsburg High-School.
Marie was an active member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, where she was active with the choir. She was a dedicated homemaker, enjoyed piano, and baking, and she taught baking classes at the Community College of Allegheny County.
Surviving are her sister, Dolly Mahramas Pihakis, and her husband Manuel, of Canonsburg; nephew, Richard Clohessy, and his wife Jane, nephews, Michael and George (Pam)Pihakis, Michael (Maureen)Kusturiss, George Mahramas, nieces, Alexandria Kusturiss, Kelly Mahramas; and special friend and neighbor, Jenny Flemming.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman A. Klein; sister, Angel Kusturiss, and brother, John Mahramas.
Friends will be received Sunday 3-6pm in the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Road, Canonsburg, PA, 15317. Trisagion service Sunday at 5pm. Additional visitation will be held Monday, 10-11am, in the church, followed by services at 11am, with Father George L. Livanos, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
